Hong Leong Bank (Cambodia) Plc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Hong Leong Bank Berhad Malaysia, officially opened our banking operations in Phnom Penh on August 23, 2013 and to support our business expansion, we are looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions based in Phnom Penh.
1. Head of Finance
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all financial matters for the bank and its subsidiaries including capital
management, strategic planning, investor relations, assets and liabilities, capital investment, cost management, accounting and transactional services reporting and performance management
- Comply with
all accepted accounting principles, CIFRS, such as
cost accounting, budgets, and regulatory agency and government
reports ensuring the safeguard of
Bank assets
Counsels senior
management on fiscal
control and profitability; prepares, presents and
interprets financial reports to senior management; adheres to tax laws and regulatory compliance to properly reflect
the financial position of the Bank.

digitalized
- Assist in attaining established
Bank and department
financial goal
- Be an advisor
from business risk and financial
perspective
Requirements:
- CPA is highly preferred
- University degree in business, management,
finance and banking,
accounting.
- Minimum
8 years of related working experience
including 5 years in Managerial
role
- Knowledgeable in taxation, financial laws and
regulatory
- Good knowledge of excel spreadsheet and data analysis
- Good knowledge of finance or accounting platform for related core-banking
system
- Salesmanship, energy and
drive
- Manage and lead team
to move into the right
direction align with company’s strategy

2. Legal Officer
Responsibilities:
- Do
legal research on product development of HLBCAM and provide
corporate advice to HLBCAM’s business and operations
- Assist the manager
in legal advice which includes drafting and reviewing
agreements, contracts and
other relevant documents
- Assist the
Manager in preparing the documentation with external lawyers on litigation against
HLBCAM
- Coordinate all corporate exercises involving HLBCAM
- Ensure group
policies and relevant local
laws are properly
maintained
- Coordinate, cooperate and build
up relationship with
external stakeholder and regulations
i.e. NBC, MOC, and others;
and
- Perform any other duty as assigned by the Manager
Requirements:
- University Degree and / or professional qualification in law or related
field
- Preferably with at least 2 year experience
in legal service
- Integrity and self-motivated
- Good interpersonal
and communication skills
- Computer proficiency in MS

3. Personal Financial Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Approach and maintain good rapport by providing satisfactorybanking service to customers,
prospect and business partners as well as other stakeholders
- Execute promotions and sales
of products
defined by team leader or management
- Contribute to ensuring
the branch’s objectives are met
- Proactively cross-sell
consumer banking products and refer other
businesses to relevant
business units
Requirements:
- Graduate from University or College (main subject: banking, finance, accounting, English or
Marketing)
- At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role
- Able to work independently
- Able to provide
efficient customer service
- Able to handle complaints
- Good communication
skills including English
proficiency

Result oriented with a strong desire to sell
4. Teller
Responsibilities:
- Handle
cash, fund transfers, cheque issuing
and clearing, foreign
currency buying and selling,
and other frontline transactions
- Maintain and change customer
information in system
- Perform end of day cash balancing and
vouchers
- Perform
filling for all documents on frontline transactions
- Assist the
supervisor to provide satisfactory
banking services and operations
support to all external
and internal customers
- Perform
add-hoc job assignment, which
shall be assigned by the management from time to time
Requirements:
- Associate
degree or Diploma
- At least 1 year
of work experience
in a similar role
- Ability
to adhere to high customer
service standard
- Ability
to handle cash transactions and accounting

- Good communication
skills including English
proficiency
